Acceptable Use Policy

This is part of the Terms of Service. It covers what you may store here and what you may publish on the public pages the service generates.

Two things up front, so the rest is read correctly:

• We do not scan your files. There is no automated detection of anything described below. Enforcement happens when something is reported, or when it otherwise comes to our attention. That is a limitation, not a loophole — these rules apply whether or not we have noticed.
• Private storage is not exempt from the first section. Those prohibitions apply to anything you upload, including projects nobody can see.

Never, under any circumstances

Not tagged, not gated, not age-restricted — prohibited. These apply to private projects as well as public ones, and an account carrying them is closed without warning. Where the law requires it, we report.

• Sexual content involving minors, in any form. This covers drawn, painted, rendered, written and AI-generated work as well as photography. It covers characters who appear to be minors regardless of any stated age, and it covers "lolicon" and "shotacon" styles by name. There is no artistic-merit exception and no "they're actually 500 years old" exception.
• Pornography featuring real people — photographs or video of actual human beings engaged in sexual activity, and photorealistic renders made to represent real people.
• Sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person who has not consented, including edited photographs, deepfakes and likeness-based work.
• Content that sexualises non-consent, presented as real.
• Sexual content involving animals. Anthropomorphic characters are not what this means; actual animals are.
• Self-harm or suicide presented as glamorous, aspirational or aesthetic, including stylised depictions.
• Material that promotes or incites violence or terrorism, or the abuse of a person or group on the basis of who they are.
• Content that is illegal where you are, or that you have no right to distribute.

Adult work between adults

Commission work in this field includes explicit art made by adults for adults. That is allowed here, with two conditions.

Where the line falls. Drawn, painted, illustrated and animated work is allowed, including nudity and explicit content. What is not allowed is photographic or photorealistic sexual content of real human beings. An illustration is not pornography by virtue of being explicit, and that distinction is the one drawn by every comparable platform in this field.

It must be tagged. Mark the project as Mature (18+) and the service does the rest:

• Its public page opens behind a warning that a visitor has to click through, confirming they are 18 or over.
• No preview image is generated for it, so a link posted to social media cannot expand into an uninvited picture in someone's feed.
• Its cover stays blurred in your public portfolio and on your public queue board until a visitor chooses to see it.

You must be 18 or over to publish adult work, even though the account minimum is lower.

Tagging is yours to do, and there is nothing checking it. We have no system that inspects your images, and we are not going to pretend otherwise: this rule works because you apply it, the way it works on every comparable platform.

Tag conservatively. If you are unsure whether something needs the tag, apply it. Nothing is lost by over-tagging: the work stays up, stays linkable and stays yours.

If something should have been tagged and was not, and it is reported to us, a person will look at it and set the tag by hand, and tell you that we did. Repeatedly publishing untagged adult work — or removing a tag we applied — will suspend the account.

What we can host may change. Our ability to carry adult work depends on the rules of the payment provider that processes subscriptions. If those rules tighten, this section tightens with them, and we will give notice before it does rather than quietly deleting work.

Also not allowed

• Publishing other people's work as your own, or anything you do not have the rights to.
• Using public pages as general file hosting — this is a commission workspace, not a CDN.
• Impersonating another artist, including taking a handle in order to be mistaken for them.
• Deceiving your clients through the service — a queue position or a progress page you know to be false.
• Automated abuse: scraping, hammering the request form, working around rate limits or plan limits, sharing one account between several people, or creating accounts to obtain more free quota.
• Attacks on the service or its users: malware, attempts to reach data that is not yours, probing for vulnerabilities without asking us first.

If you have found a security problem, we would genuinely like to hear about it. Write to the address at the bottom of this page before doing anything else with it.

Reporting something

Write to the contact address at the bottom of this page with the link and a sentence about what is wrong. You do not need an account to report something, and you can report a page you reached through a shared link.

Reports about the first section — sexual content involving minors above all — are read ahead of everything else. Say so in the subject line and it goes to the front.

What we do about it

Depending on what it is: we ask you to fix it, we apply a tag, we make a public page private, we remove content, or we close the account. For anything outside the "never" section we tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right first.

We will not remove something merely because someone dislikes it. A dispute between an artist and a client about the work, the price or the deadline is not a policy matter, and we are not in a position to arbitrate it — that agreement is between the two of you.

If your account is closed under this policy you can ask us to look again by replying to the notice. A person reads it.
